Rogue DOR Scanning Scandal Hearings, Day Two

The Bipartisan Investigative Committee on Personal Privacy conducted the second day of hearings with only two witnesses. The Governor’s office refused to allow the witnesses who originally agreed to appear to attend because they were “too busy”. The Speaker issued a subponea for their appearance but a judge placed a temporary hold on it until a hearing is conducted.

United for Missouri Recommends NO on Springfield Charter Amendments!

The Springfield City Council has placed three proposed Charter Amendments on the August 7th ballot. These three amendments make significant changes in how city officials are elected and to how citizens of Springfield bring issues before the Council and voters using the initiative petition process. In all three cases, the proposed amendments favor city government over the interests of the citizens of Springfield. United for Missouri recommends a NO vote on all three amendments.

We Have Our Answer – Senator McCaskill IS a Soldier in Obama’s War on Coal!

Senator McCakill has a very nice campaign picture next to a gas pump on her campaign website. On this website, she wants us to believe she is standing up for Missouri’s interest and against EPA regulations that would devastate our state’s economy and individuals with skyrocketing electricity prices. As with many campaign “promises” – the Senator has demonstrated she can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. She has instead once again chosen President Obama and his EPA bureaucrats over her constituents!

The falsehoods rage on as municipal leaders seek to keep their tax options open and public sector unions, with their hands in OUR pockets, continue their assualt on Let Voters Decide – Proposition A. The opponents of Proposition A seem to believe that if you say false things often enough, they will miraculously become true. They know that’s not true but they also know that if you say false things often enough you can mislead people into believing they are true which is their goal.
