Here ‘trim’ means to rip off, and ‘knock’ means to persuade away from a scam. The meaning is that there is no shortage of new victims, nor of con men, nor of honest men.

Wrong Way Jay’s Turn Tonight

If you didn't watch President Obama's State of the Union (SOTU) address last night you're not alone. More people watch the Super Bowl, at least the commercials, than tune in to the President's annual "it's everybody else's fault but mine -- here take this from them"...

Merry Christmas from the Grinch!

Merry Christmas from the Grinch!

Now that takes some chutzpah to sue your own citizens, 3 of 4 residents live in municipalities in they county, which means they will get to pay twice for the lawsuit. Once with their city taxes and again with the taxes they pay the County.

City Voters Overwhelmingly Approve Ban on Red Light Cameras!

Yesterday was a sea change all across America. It does not give the County the authority to make traffic control decisions for any municipality in any way, shape or form!

St Peters Stop SIgn Graphic
The graphic falsely claims that Proposition Red Light Camera will give the County the authority to remove stop signs in St Peters. The statement on the graphic is categorically, unquestionably FALSE! I don’t know who is responsible for it but they should lose their job for it.

United for Missouri Recommends: November Ballot Issue Edition

The November 4th ballot will contain four (4) proposed amendments to our state Constitution. We the People reserved the right to change our Constitution ourselves which means the Governor nor the General Assembly can change constitutional provisions without our vote to do so. Specifically, the Missouri State Constitution requires any change to it to be placed on the next General Election by the General Assembly. The Governor may move the issue to an earlier election if the timing permits.

The so-called #FridayFavors don’t benefit businesses. Almost everyone of them benefit individual. Almost if not all of them deal with sales taxes. Sales taxes are not paid by businesses they are paid by individual consumers. In almost every case, the sales taxes that were eliminated were not sales taxes authorized by the general assembly nor by a vote of the people but solely by bureaucrat fiat!
