Today we start covering a few of the issues we will be watching and asking our members to become engaged as the session moves along.
Another new year has arrived and with it, the second session of the 98th General Assembly is about to begin. The Missouri Constitution dictates that the session begin the first Wednesday after the first Monday in January (January 6, 2016) and end no later than 6 P.M. on the first Friday after the first Monday in May (May 13, 2016).
