Thank you for visiting the website, maintained and operated by United For Missouri, a Missouri nonprofit organization (“UFM”).

This policy establishes how UFM will handle information it learns about you from your visit to our site.  UFM collects no personally identifiable information or identifiable business information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide that information to UFM.

Automatic Collection: For each HTTP request received (what your web browser generates when you request a page or part of a page from a website), UFM collects and stores only the following information:

  • the date and time
  • the originating IP address
  • the type of browser and operating system used (if provided by the browser)
  • the URL of the referring page (if provided by the browser)
  • the object requested
  • completion status of the request
  • pages visited

How the Information is Used: When you provide information through this site, UFM will only use that information to respond to direct inquiries or to measure traffic to help UFM make the site more useful to visitors.

Voluntary Information Collected: When you register to become a member and whenever you attempt to access a secure extranet page, we ask for identification such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address.  We will use this information to fulfill your order for membership, or for goods or services, to provide you with information on events or other news we think might be of interest to you.  We do not provide or sell any of this information to third parties.

Cookies: UFM does not use “persistent cookies” or any persistent tracking methods to collect personally identifiable information or identifiable business information about visitors to our site.

Policy Changes: We reserve the right to change our policy regarding cookies and the collection of information from visitors at any time without advance notice.  Should any new policy go into effect, UFM will post the changes on the site and the new policy will only apply to information collected thereafter.  Any such policy changes will permit visitors to “opt out” of our collection of any personally identifiable information or identifiable business information.
